Scott has worked in Information Technology since the 1980s from mainframes to PC and about everything in between. He has worked for very large companies and small companies from North Carolina to Florida. While his focus is on the application and use of technology, Scott has been deeply involved in the business aspects of IT, from strategic planning, to creating and maintaining budgets, and project management.
Scott met Peggie Wells in 2021 at a meeting of some local women. She told her story and her work with the Wells Center. He was very interested in her work and the impact that the Wells Center could have and was having on the lives of women. In December of 2023, Scott joined the Wells Center Board of Directors as the Chairman.
