As a dedicated community health professional with a strong background in healthcare and
extensive volunteer experience working with incarcerated women through prison ministry, I am
committed to improving the well-being of individuals in underserved populations. Over the past
decade, I have actively engaged in supporting incarcerated women in their physical and mental
health needs, providing valuable resources, education, and emotional support to help them on
their journey toward better health outcomes.
Currently, I am expanding my expertise and pursuing a degree in social work to further enhance
my ability to address the multifaceted needs of vulnerable populations. This educational pursuit
reflects my deep commitment to advocating for social justice, empowering individuals, and
creating positive change within communities.
With over 14 years of experience in healthcare at Forsyth Medical Center, I have honed my skills
in patient care, health education, and community outreach, laying a solid foundation for my
current and future endeavors in the field of social work. I strongly believe in the transformative
power of education, prevention, and compassionate care in building healthier and more equitable communities.
