Amanda works in corporate accounting for Kleinfelder, Inc - an infrastructure firm specializing in engineering, environmental, design and construction materials testing. She has worked in the environmental industry for fourteen years.
Amanda has volunteered her time to several different organizations over the last ten years including: Hands On Charlotte - homework help, childcare during AA / NA meetings, friendship garden tending, tutoring at CPCC, Queen City Unity - organizing and volunteering at their annual Unity event, Guardian ad Litem - serving as a court appointed advocate for children in foster care in both Mecklenburg and Rowan counties, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America - current Big and chair of the Bigs Council.
Amanda lives in Winston Salem with her husband, Mike, two dogs, Marley and Madeline, and cat, Nardo.
